She was accompanied by Professor Edward Sallis OBE, Principal of Highlands College, Jersey, where Anne studied and now works.  The ceremony took place on the HQS Wellington, Temple Stairs, London.

Having received her HKF bursary in 2004, Anne has been a committed ambassador for the Foundation and has spoken at various events.  Every Christmas she makes her own cards and sells them on behalf of the Foundation and the Jersey Dyslexia Society.  She has also had her story published on the BBC website as part of their "My Story" competition -http://www.bbc.co.uk/mystory/stories/achievement/172718/.
