Our Students

Each year the Foundation supports a growing number of students from disadvantaged backgrounds. This number has grown from 1 in 1998, to 140 in 2008. A record 150 bursaries and scholarships were awarded in 2009, together with 50 laptop awards, taking the number of students supported by the Foundation to 621.

At HKF, the award winners get more than money. We offer all our award winners training sessions, help with gaining work shadowing placements, e-mentoring and advice and guidance. More information can be found on the HKF Awards page.

This area of the website is aimed at providing information about the types of student we support and information about the Foundation’s Student Portal – a website for all HKF award winners and students looking for advice and guidance. If you can’t find the information you need, please contact us.
