The Helena Kennedy Foundation are delighted to announce details of an upcoming online launch event for our mentor scheme.
Taking place on Tuesday 8th February between 12-1pm, the session will provide a clear understanding of how the mentor scheme works. It is open to both individuals wishing to become a mentor and students who are looking for a mentor during their time at University.
The session will also cover:
- What mentoring is – how it differs from coaching and management
- The benefits of mentoring – for both mentors and mentees
- Starting your mentorship – expectation setting, goal setting and contracting
- The mentoring journey – Sustaining momentum, structuring meetings and hosting meetings
- What not to do – The pitfalls and mistakes to avoid in mentoring
- The PushFar platform – leveraging PushFar for meetings, goals and more
- This is also an opportunity to answer any questions you may have as staff from Helena Kennedy Foundation and PushFar employees will be on hand.
